How to reverse a Python list (Python 3 )

How to reverse a Python list

There are actually three methods you can use to reverse a list:

  1. An in-place reverse, using the built-in reverse method that every list has natively
  2. Using list slicing with a negative step size, which results in a new list
  3. Create a reverse iterator, with the reversed() function

Use one depending on your needs. For more details, read the Python list tutorial at Python Land.
